Welcome to my music space where passion meets learning! Here, I thrive on music and am dedicated to sharing my love for it with eager learners.
I am excited to offer lessons in singing, piano, clarinet, and recorder.
The world of singing is incredibly diverse, and I take delight in guiding my students on a journey of musical exploration.
For me, singing is all about igniting a love for songs, lyrics, and performances while mastering vocal techniques.
Music is more than just an art form; it is a form of therapy that nurtures the soul.

Being a professional musician involves more than just performing; it also encompasses teaching vocal and piano skills. My studio, located on Mersea Island, serves as the hub where I instruct a diverse group of students, ranging from novices to experts. I take great pleasure in working with individuals of all ages and proficiency levels, customizing each lesson to meet the unique needs of my students.
My vocal range is extensive, allowing me to transition from contemporary artists like Adele to classical maestros like Mozart.
Music has been Caroline's lifelong passion, particularly singing, which captivated her from a young age. Her journey started in a church choir at age 8, culminating in a career as a professional classical soloist, a member of a jazz trio, and various function bands.
At 13, she earned a music scholarship for voice and clarinet studies at Ardingly College, achieving success in competitions at the Mid-Sussex Music Festival. Early in her music career, Caroline toured Austria and Southern Germany with two music groups.
Caroline resides and teaches on Mersea Island, and has taught in schools and colleges across North-East Essex & Suffolk. In 2008, she completed a teaching course with ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music), receiving a teaching certificate.
Caroline also worked with TheatreTrain, a group that graced prestigious venues such as the Royal Albert Hall and the Theatre Royal Drury Lane and went on to run her own theatre academy putting on shows & musicals in local theatres.
She now takes the stage regularly as lead singer & sax player with Wully Bully Soul Band
Music was my first love and it will be my last
Music of the future and music of the past

Vocalise Community Choir was set up in 2009 starting with just 8 people in Caroline's living room. Soon outgrowing that space and with a brief move to the primary school, we finally made our home at West Mersea Parish Church. We have grown to a current membership of 80. With a repertoire spanning the genres, and the ages we perform locally at Christmas and in the spring, with various fundraising & community events in between.
